Meet Candle Sand — a wonderfully clever way to create your own candles at home without melting wax, pouring hot mixtures or committing to one candle vessel forever.

This innovative free-flowing candle wax can be poured directly into a suitable heat-resistant vessel of your choice. Add one of the included wicks, light it and you've created your very own candle.

Finished with that look? Simply let everything cool completely, remove the used wax around the wick and reuse the remaining candle sand in another suitable vessel. Change the shape, colour scheme or styling to suit your table, home or occasion.

The Candle Sand itself is fragrance free, giving you the option to enjoy simple candlelight or add a candle-safe fragrance specifically designed for candle making, available separately.

Using Your Candle Sand

Pour the Candle Sand into a suitable heat-resistant vessel, insert a wick and light. Once you're ready for a change, allow the candle and wax to cool completely before handling, removing or redesigning.

Unused Candle Sand can be returned to the resealable kraft bag and stored in a cool, dry place.

Adding Fragrance

Candle Sand is intentionally supplied fragrance free, so you can enjoy it as it is or customise the experience.

If adding fragrance, use only a compatible fragrance specifically designed for candle use and follow the fragrance manufacturer's directions. Essential oils are not recommended unless they are specifically confirmed as suitable for candle burning.

Candle Safety

Always place your candle in a stable, suitable heat-resistant vessel on a heat-resistant surface and keep it away from curtains, decorations and other flammable materials.

Never leave a burning candle unattended or move the vessel while the candle or wax is hot. Keep away from children and pets, and always allow everything to cool completely before handling or redesigning your candle.

The supplied short wicks are designed with safety in mind, but should never be relied upon to self-extinguish. Always extinguish your candle yourself before leaving the area.
