Make a day of Oxford

Begin with a coffee and a wander along Main Street. On Sundays, visit the Oxford Farmers’ Market for local produce, artisan food, plants and crafts, then explore the village’s cafés and shops. You can also discover local and visiting artists at the Oxford Gallery, or learn about the area’s history at the Oxford Museum. Check each venue’s opening hours before you visit.

For fresh air, head to Ashley Gorge for a picnic or a walk in the foothills. The reserve is around 9 km from Oxford and is the starting point for the Ashley Gorge Loop Track. If you’re staying into the evening, look into a guided session at the Oxford Observatory for a different view of our region.
