Our Tussock & Thread Story

Tussock & Thread is a boutique in the heart of Oxford, North Canterbury, owned by mother and daughter Tracey and Tahlia. We live locally, and this community is woven into the way we shop, the makers we celebrate and the welcome we want you to feel when you walk through our door.

Our store is a place to take your time. You might come in looking for an outfit and leave with a candle for home, a gift for a friend or a pantry treat you hadn’t planned on finding. That’s part of the joy of Tussock & Thread: bringing together pieces for everyday life and the moments that call for something special.

Our collection includes women’s and men’s fashion, footwear, jewellery, accessories, homewares, skincare, candles, pantry favourites and gifts. We choose our ranges for their quality, character and the way they fit into real life.
